Many Disney fans know and love T-Rex Cafe at Disney Springs. It is one of those fun restaurants for families to attend with oversized Dinosaurs moving about, the prehistoric decor and more. It is in the same vein as Rainforest Cafe.
T-Rex Cafe Inside Disney Springs
Over the years we have seen many restaurants such as these close their doors. From Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe and now T-Rex, the age of Ultimate Themed Restaurants seems to be going extinct as to say.
The Kansas City location was meant as a way to draw tourists to the area and the retail stores surrounding to help the economy boom. It seems the landlord decided not to renew the lease so T-Rex will be closing, not from bad sales, but other circumstances.
Disney Springs Fans can still enjoy T-Rex Cafe when they visit the Walt Disney World Resort which was designed and created by Steven Schussler who was also the father of Rainforest Cafe.
