Sabrina Carpenter cast in the spin off series ‘Girl Meets World’ as Riley’s Best Friend
As we recently reported this week that Cory Matthews daughter Riley had been cast for the Boy Meets World spin-off ‘Girl Meets World’ (Read the Release Here About Riley), the newest cast member to follow suit while the show begins production on the pilot next month is 13 year old Sabrina Carpenter.
Sabrina will be playing the part of best friend to Riley Matthews (played by Rowan Blanchard).
Girl Meets World kicks off production next month as we reported and it will have both of the original stars from Boy Meets World, Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishell) reprising their roles. The best part is also Michael Jacobs is executive producer.
Many have asked if Rider Strong, who played Cory’s best friend would be on the show, and even though we were working on getting him on DizRadio as a guest, it now appears he may have a few appearances. Let’s see how the show turns out and with all the hype I know TV needs a good wholesome show once again.
