Merchoid reveals stunning new Star Wars Millennium Falcon 3D Wall Light

Merchoid is debuting the latest in their range of officially licensed Star Wars lights, the Millennium Falcon 3D wall light. The 15” model is a decorative light that can be easily screwed onto a bedroom or lounge wall and comes with an exclusive ‘crash’ decal sticker that makes it look as though the Falcon has smashed into the wall.

When the light is turned on, the Falcon’s exhaust shines a neon-futuristic blue, while the cockpit and guidelights beam bright yellow – giving any room a warm glow. The Millennium Falcon 3D Wall Light releases on 15th November and is available to preorder from Merchoid.com now (which includes free worldwide shipping).

Company Director Simon Ward says “We think it’s the coolest hunk of junk in the galaxy. The reaction from people has been truly amazing; they immediately say ‘Wow! I want it!’. But as it’s part of our new Star Wars: Episode VII range, it’s still in production. It will be released in November, nearer the new film’s actual release date.”

Merchoid’s currently available 3D Star Wars lights are Darth Vader, Yoda and Boba Fett, each of which come with a ‘crash’ decal sticker to make it look as though the character has smashed through the wall. As part of their Episode VII range, they will be releasing 3D lights for the film’s most popular characters and vehicles, including the Death Star, R2-D2 and Vader’s lightsaber– all of which are available to view and preorder now at http://www.merchoid.com.

Simon adds “The lights are powered by Philips energy efficient LED bulbs, which never run hot, never need changing and can run for hours from just a couple of AA batteries. For these reasons, we’ve found parents love them as night lights for kids’ bedrooms just as much as geeks love them for their games rooms or man caves.”

Although no 3D Lights for Episode VII specific characters have yet been announced, Simon says “We have some really exciting stuff planned for Episode VII that we’re not allowed to talk about yet. Watch this space…”
