Limited Time Magic: The Golden Horseshoe Review

Limited Time Magic: The Golden Horseshoe Review

Disneyland Park is gearing up for one of the first Limited Time Magic events. For a limited time (January 10th to February 4th) guests will be able to attend “A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue”.

The Golden Horseshoe was a dinner theatre before it turned into the counter service spot for snacks and amazing ice cream. Before the venue opened to the public Walt and Lillian Disney celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary at a private party in 1955. Walt Danced on the stage to surprise Lillian and the following day the stage opened for it’s debut performance.

In 1959 walt wrote to Wally Boag (who played the Traveling Salesman and Pecos Bill from 1955 to 1982) “I can’t remember how many times I’ve seen the show, but I always find it stimulating to be there and watch the responses of the audience-and although I practically know the routine by heart it’s always new and exciting”.
