It’s safe to say that most of us have tried our hand at a Disney character pumpkin carving at least once in our lives. And If you’re anything like me, it didn’t turn out so hot…Carving Mary Poppins holding her umbrella is not an easy task! It was anything but “practically perfect in every way.”

So, this year I’ve decided to try some Disney inspired “no-carve” pumpkin DIYs. The possibilities for pumpkin decorating are endless. Let your imagination be your guide!

Here are a few ideas:
 
Orange Bird Pumpkin:

Orange Bird Adventureland Pumpkin

What You’ll Need:
Small pumpkin
White paint
Permanent markers
Green felt
Orang felt and pipe cleaner
Glue gun
1. Form an open beak out of pipe cleaners, and glue orange felt to fill in the open space. Hot glue it onto pumpkin to create Orange Bird’s beak.
2. Paint white ovals for Orange Bird’s eyes and fill in small black half circle with permanent marker.
3. Draw curved eyebrows with permanent marker.
4. Cut two small leaves from green felt and glue to the pumpkin’ stem.
Studded Mickey Mouse Pumpkin:

What You’ll Need:
Any size pumpkin
Package of gold thumbtacks
Mickey stencil
Pen
1. Trace the Mickey stencil onto the pumpkin’s surface.
2. Push in thumbtacks following the stencil’s outline.
Mad Teacup Pumpkins:

What You’ll Need:
Teacups and saucers
Miniature pumpkins
1. Find the perfect display area.
2. Arrange teacups and saucers.
3. Place mini pumpkins into teacups.
It’s a Small World Pumpkin:
What You’ll Need:
Any size pumpkin
Ribbons
Glue gun
Small World Pumpkin

Small World Pumpkin

1. Create a fun and fancy free pattern inspired by the It’s a Small World attraction with your ribbon. Use hot glue gun to adhere to pumpkin.
2. Fill in desired space with decorative, geometric glitter glue shapes.
