The 1983 Disney Cult Classic “Something Wicked This Way Comes”
As all you D-Heads know, I love the Disney Classic Film ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’. This Disney classic, based on the Ray Bradbury story, gave some nightmares, thrilled us viewers and showed us a stylish Jonathan Pryce as the creepy Mr. Dark years before he was part of the Pirates franchise.
Well since Disney is on a reboot, or remake spree with many of their classics, it comes as no surprise that Something Wicked was going to come sooner or later.
Coming Soon reports that Seth Graham-Smith has been hired by Disney to draft a reboot adaption of the Ray Bradbury story and 1983 Disney Classic. The original story tells the tale of a midnight carnival led by Mr. Dark that comes to a small town. Two boys uncover the mysterious carnival’s real intentions and just what Mr. Dark truly is.

The reboot has no dates, or production schedule listed as of yet, but I can bet that Disney is going to make this newer adaption darker and more scary with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter scribe behind it.
