Disney Cruise Line

It has occurred to me that many people aren’t aware of how fantastic Disney Cruise Line is. I’ve made it my mission in life to convert every Disney fan into a Disney Cruise Line fan and I’m starting with you. Yep, you. The one reading this article thinking “cruising isn’t for me”.

I love the parks as much as anyone but there’s a point at which you realize you need a real vacation. One that doesn’t require months of tedious planning, touring plans, dining reservations and park hours. You want the magic but without the work. If you’ve ever felt like you need a vacation from your vacation then Disney Cruise Line is the place for you! Here are three reasons to consider cruising:

  •  The Price: Disney Cruise Line is actually one of the most all inclusive cruise lines out there. You get far more for your money than on other cruise lines including amazing kids programming (for potty-trained kids ages 3 and up), a complimentary 24-7 beverage station, room service (also 24/7) and world class service. There are no hidden taxes or port fees and you know exactly what you are paying for and what you will receive.
  • The Places: Disney has the only private island that doesn’t require tendering (taking a little boat from the big boat to get to the island). The ship docks right at the shore and you can head out and explore Castaway Cay, your private island paradise for the day. Castaway Cay has something for everyone; family beaches, a BBQ lunch and Serenity Bay-the adults only beach. There are even kids programs on the island so you can check the kids into the club with their friends and head to Serenity Bay with the other grown ups. The itineraries are among the most desirable with itineraries from 3-13 days. Make a quick trip to the Bahamas, a week in the Caribbean or set sail for the Mediterranean all on the most magical vessels to ever set sail.
  • The People: There really are no friends like cruise friends and they are SO easy to make. Just think of this…you already have something in common with everyone onboard; you all like Disney! You’ll find families from all over the world and I assure you there will be someone onboard you’ll be planning your next cruise with before the week is over. The kids will make friends on their own in their various programs and adults come together over dinner where people of similar background and interests are put together. Don’t worry…if you’re thinking “stranger danger!” you can request a private table for your family but it’s fun to get to know new people and if you don’t like them, your dining captain can reassign you.

Those are three little reasons to consider a cruise. If you have been thinking about it but haven’t convinced yourselves yet, feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. With 11 cruises under my belt I assure you I had all the questions and fears that you do and now I have the answers.
