“Host of the Artists’ Corner on Diz on Demand”
With this week’s Artist Corner segment about Disney Animator Ollie Johnson, I though it be appropriate to post my Pinocchio painting in layers as a small salute to Ollie who animated the character.
As in all of my work, I start with a blank canvas and start sketching the pose of the character in red pencil which seems to not show once oil paint is applied.
The painting layers are done over several days giving enough time for the oil to dry.
